Summer Night Meal

So I have kinda been slackin' here on the blog...but I guess it's ok cause I worked 3 nights in a row and then got sick with a sinus and an ear infection...so I have not been cooking much more than soup lately.  But I'm back now!  Jeremy and I decided to grill our own pizzas tonight...alongside a grilled peach salad.  A few months ago, Jeremy made a smoker on our patio out of a tin garbage can, some woodchips and scrap metal.  It also serves as a grill, and looks really neat!
So these pizzas...we made them on naan bread.  Jeremy's pizza consisted of hot pepper garlic sauce, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and sausage.  On mine, I had hot pepper garlic sauce, tomatoes, mozzarella, and red and yellow bell peppers.  They were delicious!

A grilled peach salad paired well with these pizzas.  I made a peach-pecan vinagrette to go with it.  Jeremy about burned his hand with these peaches.

For dessert, I made a blueberry and blackberry tart.  I should have made it with a graham cracker crust, it would have been much better.  Oh well, the filling was delicious.

I also desperately need a larger food processor.
I did these in individual ramekins because I did not have a tart pan.
mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, lemon zest and juice, mixed with blueberries and blackberries and topped with brown sugar.  If our butane lighter thingy-ma-bob was working, I would have crystallized the brown sugar on top.
This guy was quite happy.  Unlike Andy.  Good summer night dinner : )
